About Pacific Painting Kelowna

Ask most people what they want from a painter and the answer is simple: show up when you said, do tidy work, and charge what you quoted. That is the standard Pacific Painting Kelowna has held itself to for more than 15 years of painting in the Okanagan. We are a residential and commercial painting contractor working from an office on Pacific Avenue in the Pandosy area of Kelowna.

Interior work in people's homes is the largest part of what we do, followed by exteriors, cabinets, decks and fences. Our commercial side covers offices, shops, restaurants, apartment buildings and building exteriors, plus epoxy floors, line striping and graffiti removal for property owners and managers. Whatever the size of the job, the price on your signed quote is the price you pay unless you ask us to change the scope.

We work for homeowners, property managers, general contractors and builders, business owners and commercial real estate teams across Kelowna, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation lands and Lake Country. Every job is licensed, insured and covered by WorkSafeBC, and every one carries a written 1-year labour warranty. This page explains who we are, how our crews run a job, and where to find our office.

15+ Years of Painting in the Okanagan

Fifteen years in one valley teaches you things a paint can label does not.

Our painters have worked on every kind of building the Central Okanagan has: 1970s split-levels in Rutland, character homes near the downtown heritage areas, lakeside houses in the Lower Mission, and new builds in Wilden and Kettle Valley. Each era brings its own surfaces, from oil-based trim to textured ceilings to fresh drywall that drinks paint.

Experience also shows in the boring parts of the job. We know how long prep really takes, so our schedules hold, and we know which shortcuts come back as peeling paint a year later, so we do not take them.

Over those years our commercial work has grown alongside our residential jobs. The same habits carry across both: a written scope before we start, protection before paint, and a walkthrough with the client before we call it done.

The Painters on Your Job

You will meet our crew at your door, so here is what you can expect from them.

  • Covered and Accountable

Every job runs under our insurance, our WorkSafeBC coverage and our labour warranty. If something is not right, you call one company and we deal with it.

  • Respectful in Lived-In Homes

Most of our clients stay home while we paint. Our crews protect floors and furniture, keep noise and mess to a minimum, and leave each room usable at the end of the day.

  • At Ease on Commercial Sites

On job sites and in occupied businesses, our painters follow site safety rules, work around other trades, and keep to evening or weekend shifts when the client needs them.

Licensed, Insured and Covered by WorkSafeBC

These three words show up on a lot of painting websites. Here is what each one actually means for you.

  • Licensed

Contractors working in Central Okanagan communities need a valid business licence, and Westbank First Nation sets its own licensing for work on its lands. A licensed painter is a registered, accountable business, not a cash-only side job.

  • Insured

We carry liability insurance, which responds if our work accidentally damages your home, your belongings or a neighbour's property. Ask for a certificate of insurance before any painter starts.

  • WorkSafeBC Coverage

Our painters are covered by WorkSafeBC, BC's workers' compensation system, so an injury on the job is handled through that coverage. A clearance letter confirms a contractor's account is in good standing.

Our process and warranty page explains how to request each document, from us or from any painter you are comparing.

Our 1-Year Labour Warranty

Few painters in Kelowna publish warranty terms at all. We put ours in writing.

For one year after we finish, we stand behind our workmanship on every residential and commercial job. If a coat we applied peels, flakes or blisters because of our prep or application, we fix it at no charge.

The full terms, including what is excluded and how to make a request, are on our painting process and warranty page. Read them before you hire us; we would rather you know exactly what you are getting.

Rooted in the Central Okanagan

We are a Kelowna company, and the Central Okanagan is where all of our work happens.

Most of our work is in Kelowna, with regular jobs across the bridge in West Kelowna, on Westbank First Nation lands and north in Lake Country. We also travel anywhere within about a 30-minute drive of Kelowna, as our service area page explains.

Knowing the valley means knowing its weather, its building stock and its rules, from strata bylaws to the separate requirements on Westbank First Nation lands. It also means we quote paint lines sold right here in town, so touch-ups years later are easy to match. Our paints and products page lists the lines we quote most.
