Residential and Commercial Painters in Kelowna
For more than 15 years, Pacific Painting Kelowna has painted homes and businesses across the Central Okanagan from our office on Pacific Avenue, near South Pandosy. We are a full-service Kelowna painting company, and interior house painting is the heart of our work, from a single bedroom to every room in the house. Bedrooms, living rooms, tall stairwells, ceilings and trim are painted after careful prep, using low-odour products as standard.
Outside the house, we take on siding, stucco and brick repaints, deck and fence staining, and sprayed kitchen cabinet finishes that give solid cabinet boxes a second life without a full kitchen renovation. On the commercial side, our crews paint offices, shops, restaurants, apartment buildings and building exteriors. We also handle the upkeep jobs most house painters skip, such as epoxy floors, parking lot line striping and graffiti removal.
Our clients are homeowners, property managers, general contractors and builders, business owners and commercial real estate teams. As licensed and insured painting contractors, Kelowna homes and businesses get WorkSafeBC coverage on every job, a written and itemised quote, and a 1-year labour warranty on our workmanship. We book walkthroughs 7 days a week in Kelowna, West Kelowna, on Westbank First Nation lands and in Lake Country, with evening and weekend times for busy schedules.

Residential Painting Services
Most of our week is spent inside Kelowna homes, so interior painting leads the list. Every service below is quoted in writing after a walkthrough, with paint and materials included.

Interior Walls, Ceilings and Trim
Our priority service and the bulk of our work. Walls are patched, sanded and spot-primed before two full coats go on, with hand-cut lines at every ceiling and baseboard. Low-odour paint is standard, so most families stay home while we work.

Kitchen Cabinets
Doors and drawer fronts are degreased, sanded, primed with a bonding primer and sprayed for a smooth, even finish. It is a practical alternative to replacing sound cabinet boxes.

Basements and Bathrooms
These are the two rooms where paint fails fastest, from shower steam upstairs and cool, damp foundation walls below. We use mildew-resistant bathroom paints and primers made for concrete and masonry.

Exterior, Stucco and Brick
Exterior coatings are chosen to stand up to hard Okanagan sun and winter freeze-thaw. Stucco and brick get masonry primers and paints that let moisture escape rather than trapping it behind the film.

Decks, Fences, Pergolas and Sheds
Outdoor wood is cleaned, brightened and sanded before a penetrating or solid stain goes on. Pergolas, patio covers and sheds get the same prep, finished in stain or paint to suit the house.

Colour Help and Low-VOC Paint
An in-home colour session uses large painted samples on your own walls, seen in your own light. Zero and low-VOC products suit nurseries, allergy concerns and anyone working from home.

Drywall Repair and Wallpaper Removal
Holes, cracks, nail pops and water stains are repaired and primed so the fix disappears under fresh paint. Old wallpaper is steamed off and the glue washed away before the wall is sealed and repainted.

Garage Floor Epoxy
Bare concrete is ground, repaired and coated with an epoxy flake system that shrugs off oil drips, hot tire marks and winter road grime. We coat single and double garages.

Commercial Painting Services
Property managers, general contractors and business owners need painters who hold to a schedule and keep the doors open. We plan commercial work around trading hours, tenants and site deadlines, including evening and weekend shifts.

Offices, Lobbies and Conference Rooms
After-hours shifts mean staff come back to finished rooms, not wet walls and drop sheets. Lobbies and meeting rooms get scrubbable finishes and accent walls in your brand colours.

Retail, Restaurants and Commercial Kitchens
Hard-wearing, washable finishes for sales floors, dining rooms and bars, scheduled around opening hours. Commercial kitchens get coatings that stand up to heat, steam and daily wash-downs.

Apartment Complexes and Building Exteriors
Suite turnovers, corridors and full exterior repaints for strata and rental buildings, phased so residents keep access. Steel railings and stairwells are cleaned of rust, primed and recoated.

Epoxy Floors, Line Striping and Graffiti Removal
Property upkeep that most residential painters do not offer. Shop and warehouse floors get epoxy systems, lots and parkades get crisp stall lines and arrows, and tags are removed or painted out in a matched colour.
Why Kelowna Clients Choose Pacific Painting
Four plain facts stand behind every quote we write, and you can ask us to prove any of them.
15+ Years on Okanagan Homes and Buildings
Fifteen-plus years of repaints have taught us which prep steps prevent callbacks and which products hold up in Okanagan sun, so that knowledge goes into your quote from the first visit.
Licensed, Insured and WorkSafeBC Covered
Our painters carry WorkSafeBC coverage and we carry liability insurance, so you are not left exposed if someone is hurt or something is damaged on site.
A Written 1-Year Labour Warranty
If our workmanship causes peeling, flaking or blistering within a year, we return and make it right at no charge, and the terms are written down rather than promised over a handshake.
Open 7 Days, Including Evenings
We book walkthroughs until 8 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays and until 6 p.m. on Sundays, which makes it easy to meet us after work or on a weekend.
Painting for Okanagan Sun, Smoke and Freeze-Thaw
The Central Okanagan combines strong summer sun, dry heat, smoky fire seasons and cold winters. Each one is hard on paint in its own way, so we choose products and plan schedules around all four.
Strong UV on South and West Walls
Sun-facing walls fade and chalk first, especially in deep or saturated colours. We quote 100% acrylic exterior paints with good fade resistance and talk through colours that will age evenly.
Hot, Dry Summer Days
Low humidity and afternoons over 30°C make paint dry too fast, which leaves lap marks and weak adhesion. Outside, we follow the shade around the house instead of painting walls in full sun.
Wildfire Smoke and Ash
Many recent summers have left a film of smoke residue and fine ash on siding, trim and decks. We wash exteriors before painting, because new coatings bond poorly to that film.
Winter Freeze-Thaw
Water that gets behind paint freezes, expands and pushes the coating off, most often on stucco, trim and deck boards. Sealing gaps with quality caulk and finishing exterior work before cold nights arrive keeps that water out.
Most exterior work runs from about May to early October, while temperatures stay above the 10°C or so that most latex paints need to cure. Our exterior house painting service explains how we prep and coat siding, soffits and trim for this climate, and stucco painting covers the masonry side.
How a Pacific Painting Project Runs
Whether it is one bedroom or a commercial building, every job follows the same five steps. Nothing starts until you have the scope and price in writing.
Free estimate
We walk the job with you, measure, note repairs and send a written, itemised quote, usually within one business day.
Colours and products
We confirm colours, sheens and the exact product for each surface, with samples on the wall if you want to see them first.
Prep and protection
Furniture is moved and covered, floors and fixtures are masked, and surfaces are cleaned, patched, sanded and primed.
Painting
Two finish coats as standard, cut lines by hand, and a tidy, usable space at the end of every working day.
Final walkthrough
We inspect the work with you, fix anything on the list before we leave, and hand over labelled touch-up paint.
What We Paint Most Around Kelowna
These four kinds of jobs fill most of our calendar. Each one comes with its own deadline and its own idea of what a finished job looks like.

Pre-Listing Repaints
Sellers and realtors call us to turn dated colours and scuffed walls into clean neutrals before listing photos. These are often a main floor or full interior on a tight timeline.

Rental and Strata Turnovers
Property managers book us between tenants to repaint walls, patch damage and refresh trim so a suite is ready to show. Strata buildings add corridors, stairwells and exterior cycles.

New Builds and Renovations
Builders and general contractors bring us in for final coats, trim and deficiency touch-ups ahead of handover. We work around the other trades on site and keep to the build schedule.

Workplace Refreshes
Offices, shops and restaurants repaint to update a brand or repair years of wear. Most of this work happens overnight or on weekends so business carries on as usual.

Painting Questions We Hear Most
How much does it cost to hire painters in Kelowna?
Price depends on the size of the space, the amount of repair and prep, ceiling height, the number of colours and the products you choose. As a guide, a bedroom typically runs $450 to $850 and a whole interior with walls, ceilings and trim $8,000 to $18,000 or more, paint included. Your real number comes from a written, itemised quote after we see the job.
Are you licensed, insured and covered by WorkSafeBC?
Yes. We are licensed and insured, and our painters are covered by WorkSafeBC. Ask and we will send a WorkSafeBC clearance letter and a certificate of insurance before any work starts.
Can you work evenings or weekends?
Yes. We are open 7 days, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Businesses can book after-hours or weekend painting so the work happens while they are closed.
Do your quotes include paint and materials?
Yes. Our quotes include paint, primer, caulk, patching compound and protection supplies, and each surface lists the exact product. We quote premium lines from Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams and Cloverdale Paint by default and price any upgrade separately.
What does your warranty cover?
Every job carries a written 1-year labour warranty. If something we painted starts to peel, flake or blister within that year because of how we did the work, we come back and repair it free. New damage, normal wear and problems caused by leaks or structural movement are not covered.
